I am the owner of a small business in downtown Phoenix and I recently experienced my first ever robbery.  Not only was it the first time I’ve had someone break into the building, but it was under really bizarre circumstances.  I own a tanning salon with eight beds and a small store attached that sells everything from tanning lotions to sunglasses and hats.  I left the shop at about 8 p.m. on Friday and when I returned the next day, the place had been ransacked.  The beds had been smashed, which will cost loads to replace, and the store looked as if it had been tipped upside down.

I called the police and when they arrived, we discovered the only things stolen were the dark tanning lotions and the box of what we label our best suntan lotion.  Everything else had been left behind, even our selection of designer sunglasses and flip flops.  Even more surprisingly than that, the cash register was untouched!  So the police really don’t have much to go on except there’s a thief on the run who apparently wants to be very tanned.  Any help in this matter would be appreciated.  If there are any other small business owners out there who have the same sort of shop as I do and have experienced the same kind of theft pattern, please get in touch so we can solve this together.
