My husband and I have a dog and a cat.  They are longtime playmates who were raised together.  Until recently, I stayed at home while my husband was at work, but after a lot of discussion, I decided to apply for a job because we would really like to buy a larger home in a few years.  I started working at an interior design firm last month, and I enjoy it. 

The only problem has been with our pets.  While I was at home, I could let them in and out.  Now, we have to leave the dog outside in the yard and the cat stays inside, with a litter box.  This hasn’t been ideal, because they’re used to coming in and going out, and they like to be together. 

My husband and I have been checking out pet doors; we’ve been looking at PetSafe dog doors at an online website.  They’ve got a good selection.  The website also offers a good selection of discount cat supplies.  Our town is rather small, and even though it’s got a pet store, it doesn’t have much of a selection, even if it is mostly geared towards dogs.  We’re going to order a pet door next week.
