How many of you truly get what you want for Christmas? Don’t get me wrong, I’ve gotten some great gifts over the years, and I’m appreciative of everything that has ever been given to me. I really am blessed. But this year, I’m going to treat myself to a few gifts that I’ve been eyeing for some time.

• The first thing I’m going to get is a new acoustic guitar. I already have an electric guitar, but an acoustic would be a nice addition. I’m not looking for anything too expensive. In fact, I’ll probably pick one up at a local pawn shop for a cheap price.
• I also want to buy Halo 3 for the Xbox 360. Yes, I’m a video game nerd. And no, I’m not behind the times. I had a copy of Halo3, but it got pretty badly damaged just last week. I’m already having withdrawals from not playing, so I might go pick it up long before Christmas.
• The last thing I want to treat myself to isn’t just for me. It’s a weekend road trip with my girlfriend. We’ve both been so busy with work lately that we haven’t had time to relax with each other. Hopefully, we can find the time to take off work and get away for a few days.

I plan on paying for all of this by getting cash for gold. I found some old gold jewelry, and I’m selling it to a place that lets you sell gold for cash. Since they give top gold value, it should be more than enough to cover all this.
