I never knew what a benefit Disability insurance Companies offered to practicing dentists with their Dentist Disability Insurance until I had personal experience with a person who did not have the insurance and it was just an absolute chaotic mess for her. I used to date a woman who worked so hard to get to where she was with her dental practice. She did everything right, because she always worked hard at school so that she could advance quickly through the proper ranks and get into the best dental schools and really learn all she needed in order to be a great dentist, and she really was.

I actually started going to her when we started dating so that she could work on my teeth and I was very pleased with her performance even as an objective patient. If anything I was probably even more critical than normal people might have been! But when she was hurt in a freak accident and became disabled, she found out she had done one thing wrong and had never gotten disability insurance. It was very sad because her life was turned upside down then and I do not even really know what happened to her because she stopped speaking to me, things were that bad for her. I hope she is doing ok.
