Picking out the right wedding stationary can be a tricky thing, especially if you are on a budget.  Some people go all out with their wedding invites, buying the most elaborate and expensive ones that they can find.  But then they forget about other stationary that they will need, such as name cards and thank you notes.  If you are going to go very fancy with your invites you want to continue the same level throughout the wedding.  But sticking with the same theme does not mean sticking with the same exact design.

For our wedding we went with beautiful white rose wedding invitations that match my bouquet.  They were perfect and represented the tone of the wedding.  Our place cards and thank you notes also had white roses, although just a single rose where the invites had a bouquet.  This helped us keep the theme but alter the look of the various stationary slightly.  My best friend loved this idea and used it when she got married a year later, although she chose tiger lily wedding invitations.  Her invitations had a vibrant orange tiger lily on them while her thank you cards had the same flower, only in yellow.
