Tattooed, Then Tattooless, and Back Again

Shane Moraine once had a tattoo on his arm. He had it done back in college but then decided that he did not want it. Going through the equally painful process of having it removed, Shane lived tattooless for another 6 years. Friends, girlfriends, and lots of people in the college town in which he resided had them. Tattoos were a commonality here, but that wasn’t why he felt the desire to get one again. Shane considered getting the same tattoo in the same spot, but days and weeks of thought changed his mind. His tattooed friends would also ask – why get the same tattoo in the same spot which he had it removed from?
There were plenty of heart tattoos to go around, and since Shane wanted to express his devotion to this girl, it seemed like a good idea. Once he went online to get ideas, he found a downloadable template for one. Any one of the selection of dragon tattoos seemed to be mysterious, terrifying, and awe-inspiring and Shane decided that’s what he would get. The conglomeration of mental processes resulting from tiny electrical impulses in his synapses, deep within Shane’s brain, led to the eventual perfect tattoo.
