You probably don’t think about your bedding too often (except maybe when you realize that it’s time to clean it!) Despite your lack of attention to this part of your life, your bedding actually says a lot about you to the people who you let see it.

Here are just a few examples of what the type of bedding that you have could tell others about who you are:

• Modern bedding. This says that you’re on the cutting-edge of things. You’re probably good with technology, organized in your life and interested in making a good impression. In general, people who see you with this bedding will assume that you’re professional and efficient.
• Asian bedding. This tells people that you have an interest in Eastern things. Perhaps you’re a massage therapist, maybe you’re into yoga or it could be that you’ve traveled to Japan for business. In general, people who see this bedding in your room will assume that you’ve got a strong spiritual side and an open-minded approach to life.
• Tropical bedding. If you’ve got bedding that hints at tropical destinations and you’re not living in one then it probably means that you’re daydreaming about being elsewhere. People will see this and assume that you’re a free spirit with creative tendencies.

Of course, these stereotypes may not be true about you. You may have picked up the bedding just because you liked how it looked. But your house guests and overnight visitors are going to take one look at what’s on your bed and think that they know a few things about what’s in your heart.
